Since 1950, York Adventist Christian School has been expertly blending faith and academics to produce well-rounded, productive citizens in Shiloh and beyond. Located at the intersection of Kenneth Road and Roosevelt Avenue, the campus consists of the school building, playground, paved parking area and an adjacent grass field.
With a student population of only a few dozen, children at York Seventh Day Adventist benefit from the small class sizes and hyper-individualized attention from the school’s handful of full-time teachers and support staff. The school’s student-to-teacher ratio is 6-to-1, which is far below that of other private and public schools in the area.
York Adventist understands that today’s youth are tomorrow’s adults and that’s why it operates a program called Partnering for Eternity, which pairs each child with an elder mentor to foster intergenerational bonds. When students aren’t busy taking in sage wisdom, they can participate in the many fundraisers York Adventist Christian School hosts to benefit the school and local community.

My son has attended this school for 5 years since Kinder-garden. The small class sizes of 10 students to one teacher is a throw back to the fine education, like Anne of Green Gables.
