I've gone to school at the Austintown Local School District my whole life. I actually watched the schools get built. But overall, it's a great school district regardless of what people say about it. Yes it can seem like crap from time to time but when you compare it to other schools in the area, Fitch looks like a private school in comparison.

It was an overall good experience and I believe that the main goal of the school was for kids to learn and understand what is being taught to them, while also making it a comfortable environment where kids can be themselves.

It's a good school but some of the administration are very rude and don't respect the students. If this school didn't have the toxic environment from them I would enjoy it more. The teachers are all very great, nice and respectful. The school prioritizes sports over anything though. The computers that they give us to use too are very slow.

I have two children that went through the public school system in Groton. While I was highly impressed with their elementary school education I was disappointed and discouraged with the middle school and high school. My children were not encouraged, challenged or enlightened in anyway.

This school only cares about data and showing off. To the teachers and staff, if you are not in all honors or athletics then you are nothing. The teachers do not care, and no one cares about the old rickety high school. They just got all new buildings for the others schools while ceiling tiles have...
