It is my second year being here and I can say the school had a good environment. Apart from the uncoordinated hallways everything seems fine. The teachers and staff are all willing to talk to you at any time. The teacher get little to no sleep, from what I'm noticing, to see students succeed. Only real problem are the hallways and people all crumbling up and not choosing a way to go. Lunches are a absolute win in my opinion. The last school I went to had a very poor structured lunch time.

I would like to see that Yuma High will improve their classrooms. I would also like to thank Ellen Hobbs, Silvia Arellano, and Rocio Ruiz for being the best teachers, theyare the ones that carry the whole district.

What I enjoyed about Yuma High School are the select teachers and coaches I've had. They are always there to encourage me and push me to strive for better things. A change I would like to see is more support from the administration at my school.

Yuma High teachers generally support the students some more than others (Brown, Gastelum, and Lozano are the best). Some teachers need to be on their way out and it shows. CTE programs are a need to participate in. The culinary class is amazing. I would take it all 4 years if possible. I would recom...

I only went here for TWO SCHOOL YEARS. There is only a handful of teachers that actually do their job in helping the students learn. Most of the administrators act like children, and the security guards refuse to do their job correctly. There is a lot of favoritism when it comes to the students. Mor...

Overall, not much to say other than that the teachers and councilors are great. I've been around campus—students aren't very engaged with what they're learning. A plethora of reasons can be given to explain why. One being is that the majority of the students come from Hispanic orgins. Families can b...

Overall the academic experience could be much better too bad the teachers are forced to allow students to pass their class even though they don’t meet the minimum requirements. This is something that isn’t just happening at this high school but all the high schools in Yuma County. Teachers are force...
