ZMHS has a learning environment based on growth and preparation for its student's futures. Teachers at ZM care about their students and they do their best to provide an equal education for all students.

Pros: *ZMHS does a good job of accommodating to students as individuals. *The academic success in the ZM District is above average and has been ranked a Silver School by USA Today. *There is never a shortage of staff that are willing to help the students. We have counselours, paraprofessionals and Special Ed. teachers who commit to helping each student. Cons: *The School district in general is growing rapidly. The administration tries its best to keep up with the sudden increase in student body, but there is an obvious stuggle. And even with the growth in the school's population, their is very little diversity in race, religion or background. *Teachers in the ZMHS math department do not commit to their work as teachers and students often struggle in these classes. In all, if you value academics, sports, availability to technology in school, ZMHS will be a great choice.

I have lived in Zumbrota my whole life and attend the school for twelve years. The school is great but does not have a lot of money. The one thing they could improve is the actual building itself. Many times there will be leaks from the ceiling and random panels missing from the ceiling. The small gym also has awful flooring that makes it almost impossible to play any sport. If the school had just a little more money to spend on important issues instead of spending money on painting the walls and getting new custom welcoming mats it would be a terrific school.
