Suburban community with rustic charm
Pines Road is a community of residential subdivisions branching out from its namesake road in Shreveport. “It’s an up-and-coming neighborhood,” says Zondra Spikes, a Realtor with Keller Williams Northwest. “Grocery stores and restaurants, kid-friendly with schools and daycares nearby.” A quiet, rural neighborhood in Northwest Louisiana, residents may see Blue Jays perched in pine trees and calling to one another; Pines Road’s laidback Southern charm is its appeal for homebuyers. “It’s on the outskirts of the city, but still not far from everything you’d want.” About 10 miles from downtown, residents can enjoy convenient access to the culture, entertainment and amenities of the city.

Split-level houses can also be found; two-story homes and new construction can reach asking prices around $300,000.
