Directly to the north is the 500-acre LaTourette Park and Golf Course, part of the Staten Island Greenbelt network of parks. Popular spots include the Hylan Diner, classic Italian eatery La Strada, and an outpost of the dine-in theater chain Alamo Drafthouse. Stop & Shop and ShopRite are also located in New Dorp. The Staten Island Mall, home to stores including Macy’s and Lidl, is a 10-minute drive north through LaTourette Park.
