Three miles east of @Downtown Syracuse, Meadowbrook is a suburban reprieve from Syracuse's urban sprawl. "It's probably the most affluent part of the city," says Zachary Johnson, an associate broker at Acropolis Realty Group with over 7 years of experience. "The layouts of the houses are really unique and custom-built. You're not going to get a Cape Cod or mass-produced house here." There aren't many businesses or green spaces here, so residents head to other neighborhoods for shopping, dining and recreation, like @Westcott. "It's pretty much all residential," Johnson says. Centro buses and New York State Route 92 make it easy to get around town. "It's definitely a close community," Johnson says. "Everybody knows everybody in Meadowbrook." Meadowbrook streets are lined with single-family homes and manicured lawns peppered by mature oaks and pines. "It's probably one of the city's highest concentrated areas of single-family homes," Johnson says. Architectural styles are diverse, but ranch-style, Colonial Revival and Craftsman styles are typical, generally dating to the early- or mid-20th century; there are also a handful of midcentury modern and custom-built homes. "They're
