The housing in my community is varied. My actual neighborhood is well-maintained for the most part but some of the surrounding streets are either cared for or neglected. Most of the houses have a similar rambler-type layout with a two car garage and a smaller front yard.

The weather tends to change very quickly. One day it could be really sunny, without a cloud in the sky. The next morning it is possible to wake up to gloomy, snowy weather. During the winter it usually snows a lot. For this reason people enjoy winter sports. However, this winter has been different and we have only gotten a few days of good snowfall which is extremely unusual.

There isn't much protection, people just have to be lucky that something doesn't happen to them.

The best parts of West Valley City is towards Valley Fair Mall. It is quite scary to be out at night, especially with the recent shooting at West Fest. However, there is a lot to do when you go towards 3500 south, checking out the bars and restaurants.
