Laurie and her team helped us sell our Cedar Park home quickly and efficiently. The marketing plan and schedule were clearly laid out and followed by the team. Any glitches encountered were minor in nature. Staging of the house was handled by Laurie's team with two 1-hour sessions. Photos of the house were absolutely amazing!

I feel premature in writing this review, but the experience is so great I could not wait minute longer!

We are selling our house and renting a house about 5 miles away so our daughter can attend a preferred high school.

Laurie came by and told us what we needed to do, what we should do, and what is optional, but still very good to do in order to sell our home for the highest amount.

She had trusted partners to help with everything. Paint, flooring, moving, etc. But the very best referral was to Ryan McDowell. Ryan showed us rental homes, took notes, updated the criterion, cheered us on when we were vying for one house, celebrated with us when we chose another one and made the emotionally-draining experience fun and happy for us.

We met a few evenings, and a few weekend days without any hesitation. His follow up was impeccable. When he somehow got dropped from a Reply All with our new landlord, he still circled back to make sure every I was dotted and every T was crossed.

It would be impossible for me to recommend him more highly.

They're kind and they all work very well together to make sure that every detail is perfect. They provide mobile notary service and exceptional marketing in addition to expert real estate advice.

Everyone was professional and the communication and punctuality was flawless and we were guided through every step of the way. Laurie Flood is an amazing Realtor! From the moment I met her, I recognized her warmth, knowledge, and professionalism; I knew she was THE person to assist me with selling my home. The communication from Laurie and her capable staff was always prompt and reassuring about my concerns. Every aspect of marketing my home, especially difficult in a COVID 19 world, was covered: sign, marketing materials, beautiful MLS photos, hand sanitizer at the door, and even booties. I had no concerns about Realtors bringing prospects to my home.

All of this resulted in my home selling in two days, to the first family to visit my home! Laurie's negotiation skills, from securing the contract through the inspection period ensured a seamless, stress-free process.

Another important aspect of a long-distance move is finding professionals for post sale considerations: a reliable moving company, a Realtor in my destination to assist with a home purchase, and a company to clean the home after the movers leave (the last thing I wanted to do was clean the place!). Laurie had excellent recommendations for all of these needs.

I highly recommend the Laurie Flood Team as you can see from my rating, and I have already recommended them to my friends who will be looking in the coming years. To start this was our first time purchasing home so there was quite a bit of uncertainty throughout the process. The team worked so hard for us and in the end we felt we had made an informed decision and purchased a home we are loving. That is the short version, now for the long version.

We had been talking about purchasing a home for years but recently decided to go for it. We were put in contact with the Laurie Flood Team and Kyle Bertels became our realtor. From the beginning he was very warm and friendly and asked us what we wanted. He gave us a first time home owner overview of what we should expect from the process as well as what to expect from Austin's competitive housing market. He also set up a home search so that we could see all the new listings that matched what we wanted from a house. He was also very flexible with us as we did change our minds on a few things.
One thing I would like to mention is that we are a gay couple and for Kyle and the Laurie Flood Team that was never an issue. We were always treated kindly and with respect which is something I was initially concerned with.
The searching process was fantastic. We gave Kyle a list of homes we wanted to see and he took us. He also did some background checking on each property and had print outs ready when we toured. He also did his best to answer any questions we had and if he was unsure he would find out and get back to us.
Eventually we found our home and started the buying process. While we mainly worked with Kyle the rest of the team was hard at work getting all of our preapproval and the rest of our paperwork ready. We were able to close on the house rather smoothly. The previous owners were really the only source of negativity through the whole process. But even when something would come up with them, our team was ready.
As I have said before, I highly recommend the Laurie Flood Team and Kyle Bertels. They made our first time purchasing a home a wonderful experience and we hope to work with them in twenty to thirty years when we are ready to sell and move to a new home.

We had contacted another realtor before, who did not give us much hope of selling in the price range that we had hoped for. Laurie Flood and her team were fantastic to work with. She met with us and immediately knew what was needed to get our house ready for sale. We needed some repairs and she provided us with the names of local (in the neighborhood) contractors who she had worked with in the past. Since they had worked with her previously, they knew exactly what needed to be done to make the house ready for inspection. For me Laurie was not a good realtor but a truly outstanding one! I have dealt with many real estate professionals over the years and Laurie was head and shoulders above the rest.

I first met her about 6 months before the sale of my house and she very professionally explained all she would do should I chose to engage her.

A few weeks before the sale Laurie's suggestions on improvements and changes to the house to prepare it for the sale were invaluable. Not only did she make the suggestions but gave detailed links to where relevant items could be purchased as well as a very helpful vendor list.

Thanks to her suggestions we were able to sell the house within a week with multiple offers.

Laurie was amazing to work with, and I can't recommend her strongly enough! My initial inclination for selling our house in Austin was via private sale, but I decided to do some research and meet with some realtors to understand their value proposition. I met with three realtors, two of them felt like they just wanted to sell our house for a bargain price to move it quickly - they pointed out all kinds of flaws in the house and tried to talk down the price I felt was reasonable. Laurie was the complete opposite, she had sold the most houses in the area where I lived, and she really knew the area - explaining why certain houses on certain streets were not comparable to our house when setting a price, and she actually talked me into a higher listing price.

Keep in mind most realtors won't do this because its in their best interest to sell the property as quickly as possible. Not only did she talk me into a higher list price, but her team was excellent to work with, they did a wonderful job staging the house, and took amazing pictures. I originally thought her 'blue sky guarantee' was a bit silly, but it makes a huge difference in the quality of the pictures! She runs featured advertisements all over the place on different platforms, and really pushes the house.

At the end of the day, the house sold extremely fast, above the already high list price (due to a bidding war from all the advertising). Laurie absolutely earned her fee and I would recommend her to anyone. When I talk through my experience with friend's and family who have sold property, they universally are impressed and want to know why their realtor didn't do that!

They had utility change services from a dedicated company that does this. They had a short list of contractors to get professional quotes after I decided what I wanted to negotiate with from my inspection. Laurie listened to our needs and concerns, then helped us get our home in top notch condition with the assistance of the included stager. We followed the recommendations to remove a few items and improve furniture placement. We knew our home was then “show ready”.
