These houses are largely ranch properties and bungalows with brick and stone exteriors. These homes range between $300,000 and $400,000 for residents who are looking to join the long-established community. “It’s got a lot more character because of the people. You have people who have been here that are original owners, and you have people who are just now moving in with their kids,” Gilbert says. “It’s really just a big mixture of individuals who are all trying to do the same thing. We’re happy to have neighbors move in and happy to have people here.”Interstate 69 cuts through the center of Sharpstown
