Holston Hills
Clubhouse events and tournaments
A large portion of the neighborhood is occupied by the Holston Hills Country Club, where the original clubhouse opened in 1927. After its construction in the early 20th century, it was widely considered one of the state's best clubs and hosted many regional events. Still going strong today and racking in top rankings, they have tournaments and leagues for all ages on the well-maintained golf course. Members can also access the tennis courts, swimming pool and fine dining. "The country club has a ton of activities going on," says Guy. "It definitely brings the community together." According to Guy, Holston Hills is one of the 13 neighborhoods that participate in the Dogwood Arts Trail event during April, a route that spans through Knoxville to fully display the blooming nature at some of its prettiest locations. Nearby Skyline Park provides residents with nearly ten acres of open space, sports fields, and a playground and tennis courts.Flower gardens and fall festivals in Holston Hills
