Children in the area attend Waggoneer Elementary School, where they can explore science, technology, engineering, art, agriculture and mathematics in the school’s STEAM Labs, MakerSpaces and School Gardens. Students also participate in weekly classes where they can sing, dance and create music. Next, kids attend Winters Middle School, which has an overall Niche grade of C. Teenagers attend Winters High School, which has an overall Niche grade of B and was ranked the ninth-best public high school in Yolo County.

They hold family-friendly events like Meet the Kids and Kids Day on the Farm, and patrons can schedule tours of the farm as well. Pleasants Valley Estate Vineyards are nearby, tucked amid the hills and valleys. Sitting in front of an Italianate estate is a vineyard and winery where locals can spend the day enjoying wine, catered food, and live music without making the trip to Napa.
