Amesti's closest dining and shopping options are in nearby Watsonville. Getting around Amesti

Residents can make use of Green Valley Road, which runs along the eastern edge of the neighborhood. State Routes 1 and 152 lie a little further to the south but they are useful connectors to larger neighborhoods near Amesti like Freedom and La Selva Beach. Public transportation is available through Santa Cruz METRO buses, which serves the neighborhood. Stops include locations along Amesti Road and Green Valley Road. Air travelers can make their flights at Watsonville Muni Airport (3.4 miles) or Monterey Regional Airport (32 miles). The nearest medical center, Watsonville Community Hospital, is less than four miles away and San Jose is roughly 47 miles north of Amesti.
