A mix of 20th-century homes and brand-new builds
Evergreen and deciduous trees frame the residential roads, with occasional clearings that provide views of the neighboring Chugach Mountains to the east. The homes come in a variety of styles and are surrounded by trees that add a sense of privacy. “Buyers will find well-kept single-family residences alongside pockets of new construction and custom builds,” says Gina Pelaia, a Realtor with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Alaska Realty, with nearly three decades of experience in the area. "It's a community that continues to grow in a measured way." You'll find prices typically range from the high $300,000s to the low $700,000s. Larger, more recently built homes with more land can exceed $800,000 and cap around $2.6 million.
