Suburban and country homes in Anderson
Balls Ferry Road runs from Anderson’s small city center into its agricultural east side. The neighborhood that bears the same name follows its path, starting with strip malls and suburban streets in town that transition into country lanes to the east. “The east side of Anderson is noticeably greener because it’s got great irrigation, so a lot of people move out there for country properties or farmland,” says Realtor Cory Meyer, owner of the Cory Meyer Real Estate Team and one of the top sellers in Northern California. Although, in Anderson, being out in the country doesn’t mean being out of the way. “It’s a small town, so you don’t have to live in one specific area to be near everything you need,” Meyer says. “They’ve done a great job slowly revamping the little pocket of restaurants in the middle of town.” Whether living in a suburban community or on a few acres of land, these restaurants and necessities are a short drive away on Balls Ferry Road.
