Ted's Bulletin's original DC location became so popular that it expanded into Ballston, so locals can quickly reach their brunch or dinner entrees in its upscale decor. Or turn onto North Kenmore Street and try El Pollo Rico, which has served Peruvian-style charbroiled chicken and yucca fries to the community since the 1980s. El Pollo Rico's popularity has invited celebrity customers from Anthony Bourdain to Serena Williams. Residents can get groceries at Giant supermarket or walk a couple blocks east to Trader Joe's in Clarendon.
