The Jefferson County School District R-1 enrolls Candelas’ students, beginning at either Three Creeks K-8 School, earning a B-plus on Niche, or Meiklejohn Elementary, which earns an A-minus. While Three Creeks is located within the Candelas community, Wayne Carle Middle School is just 5 miles east and earns a B on Niche. Denver International Airport is 40 miles east, but the SCL Medical Clinic is actually located within the neighborhood off Candelas Parkway.
