Many houses have been renovated over the years, while others need a few repairs. “You’re going to have a lot of gutted, fully renovated homes at moderate prices,” says Realtor Juli St George of Keller Williams Realty Intown Atlanta. She’s sold homes across Atlanta for over a decade. “They’re good, entry-level homes.” Most homes list from the upper-$100,000s to the low-$400,000s, but a few 2,000 to 3,000-square-foot homes can sell from the low-$400,000s to the low-$600,000s.

You can meet your neighbors at the city-maintained West Manor Park, the neighborhood’s main outdoor space. “People in this neighborhood really love their park,” St. George says. “It’s a nice size.” The park has a playground, baseball field and tennis courts. The Anthony Flanagan Memorial Recreational Center hosts after-school activities and the Primetime Seniors program, which has free line dancing and sewing classes. The 120-acre Cascade Springs Nature Preserve nearby has a woodsy trail along a creek, and at Adams Park, folks enjoy fishing in the lake while golfers can play 18 holes at the public Alfred Tup Holmes Golf Course.
Anthony Flanagan Recreation Center at West Manor Park is close by for residents to use.
