A look at Inspiration, a growing master-planned Parker neighborhood
Inspiration is a master-planned community that was developed on farmland in Parker. The neighborhood was designed to be multigenerational, with a 55-plus, as well as all-ages communities. Construction began in the mid-2010s, and some housing sections have yet to be built out. Its outdoor amenities, including its paved community trails and activity centers, are established.
Inspiration is a fantastic neighborhood and a great place to call home.

Inspiration offers homes in 55-plus and all-ages communities
New Traditional homes are common in Inspiration’s all-ages community and its Hilltop 55-plus community. Many houses are one-story, and some have basements. Exterior features include stone and brick embellishments, decorative gables and covered front porches. “Everyone takes care of their homes. They’re newer and give that feeling of a high-end area where everyone is a good neighbor,” says Michelle Addison, a broker associate with HomeSmart, licensed since 2017. Home prices range from the high $500,000s to nearly $1.6 million, depending on factors such as home sizes. “My buyers were originally looking for acreage properties, but were drawn to Inspiration because they could walk from their front door to enjoy the outdoors in the open space, parks and trails. It was the best of both worlds: an easy commute and paved sidewalks, a newer, larger home and a great outdoor space they could enjoy without having to maintain it,” Addison says.
Inspiration is known for larger homes with large yards.

The lifestyle offered in the Inspiration Metropolitan District
The Inspiration Metropolitan District oversees the community. Residents pay quarterly fees that may vary yearly, though are typically around $330. “Essentially, if you have the same-priced house at Inspiration as you do in Ponderosa Hills, your taxes are going to be significantly higher because of that metro district. But, with that, you also are going to have your typical cookie-cutter neighborhood amenities: the clubhouse, the pool and pocket parks,” says Phillip Booghier, an LIV Sotheby’s International Realty realtor with over five years of experience. “At Ponderosa, when you have a property that has an acre [or] 2 acres, you typically don’t know any of your neighbors; you just don’t see them that often. You’re not out like in Inspiration, where you walk out your front door, and you can see 30 houses, and you’re walking to the mailbox, and you get to know your neighbors like that.”
Outdoor amenities vary from athletic facilities to activity centers
Inspiration offers a variety of outdoor amenities, including a swimming pool, over 12 miles of trails and various parks. “One of my favorite spots is Bear's Lair, formerly Picnic Park,” Addison says. “It’s a charming park with life-sized chess pieces, a ping pong table and even charging stations for your laptop. Unsurprisingly, everyone adores Clay, the famous bear sculpture.” Pathfinder Park has a playground, an in-line hockey rink with basketball and tennis courts. Neighborhood Activity Centers include the Hops Garden harvest area and the Watering Hole picnic spot, which has a gas-fired pizza oven. The Inspiration Club Building regularly hosts events, including yoga classes and trivia nights.

A toll road ties Inspiration to the Denver metro area
