Tallgrass residents live close to two neighborhood parks. To the north of Lehigh Avenue and Netherland Street, The Park at Tallgrass offers a playground, a picnic shelter and a small walking trail. To the south near Oxford Avenue, Tallgrass Park offers similar amenities along with a basketball court and disc golf course. Immediately north of the neighborhood, the Plains Conservation Center lets visitors experience scenic plains trails with views of bald eagles, prairie dogs, pronghorns, coyotes, and red-tailed hawks. Locals can find the nearest King Soopers and Safeway locations for groceries two miles northeast of the neighborhood, as well as Kohl’s, Play It Again Sports and Walgreens.

Reach the heart of Denver via Hampden Avenue
Aurora’s Tallgrass neighborhood is about 21 miles away from the central business district in Denver and 10 miles from the center of Aurora, giving residents the comfort of convenience without sacrificing privacy or style. Residents can take Hampden Avenue on the north side to reach CO-83 and Interstate 225. The nearest hospital is Centennial Hospital, 9 miles southwest of the neighborhood.
