Tallgrass has a homeowners association that oversees its single-family homes and condos. Its duties include ensuring standards are consistent across its communities, including structures and architecture. “It is suburban calm. I feel like when they built it, they tried to be more cognizant of the feel of the neighborhood and calling it Tallgrass by having some of the grasses near the signs […] They have little bushes and trees and all the stuff that makes it feel like what you would think Tallgrass would look like,” says Cindy Dassinger, a broker and owner of Metro Home Finders, Inc., licensed since 2000.
The HOA is responsible for maintaining shared green spaces and contracting trash service. These efforts are funded by annual assessments, which are approximately $1,000 and fluctuate from year to year.
