Camelot’s established houses come with plenty of space
Most of Camelot’s houses were built in the 1970s and ’80s. Properties settle into the region’s hilly landscape, along winding streets with fitting names, like Castle Ridge Road, King Arthur Court and Lancelot Way. Contemporary- and ranch-style layouts are common, and floor plans average over 3,400 square feet, which beats the Austin-wide average of about 2,200. Some homes are secluded behind trees on lots that often stretch at least a half-acre. “For the right lot and the right house and the right family, it can be a good fit,” says local broker Joanie Capalupo, who’s with Compass and has over 20 years of experience in the business. It typically costs from $1.1 million to $2.2 million to lay claim to a single-family home in Camelot. Condos in the area run from the mid-$300,000s to the lower $600,000s, with monthly HOA fees that average about $375.
Camelot homes range from classic ranches to custom estates.
The area's condos could suit first-time buyers or downsizers.

The Grove Wine Bar & Kitchen, a spot where you can pair a selection from the extensive wine list with bruschetta and a pizza
Lola Savannah Coffee Lounge, whose menu includes not just coffee and pastries, but also tacos
Yuki Handroll Bar, which specializes in handcrafted sushi
You can take a quick right turn from Bee Caves Road onto Capital of Texas Highway to reach the Village at Westlake shopping center to grab groceries at H-E-B. Other businesses in the Village at Westlake include Sephora, Buff City Soap, Gold’s Gym and The UPS store, in addition to familiar chain eateries like Starbucks and Chick-fil-A.
