It’s a small, tight-knit neighborhood with a community center and theatre, The Stars Playhouse. It’s all near Polo Park, a 40-acre greenspace that’s 2 miles, or 5 minutes, north. “Polo Park is the hub for kids sports for all of Bakersfield, regardless of where you live,” says Erik Van Denk, a Realtor with Central Valley Property Advisors who’s worked in the area for nearly two decades.
