Locals also head to Belvedere Square Market to hear live music at the Summer Sounds concert series, which runs from the end of May through early September.

Commuters can reach Downtown Baltimore after a 6-mile drive south and are close to several major routes in and out of the city. “It’s centrally located just off Northern Parkway, which is a major east-west corridor, then Loch Raven Boulevard and Perring Parkway serve as the main north-south corridors into the city,” says Stumbroski. “Good Samaritan Hospital is also a big employer in the area.” MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital is less than a mile away and has served the area for over 50 years. You can also take Maryland Route 295 just 16 miles south to catch flights out of Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport.
