Desirable suburb with a large green space and boat storage
Quite a few communities cropped up along Buckwalter Parkway in the early years of the 21st century, but none quite like Woodbridge. Here, residents flock to a 13-acre central green space for community get-togethers, a bite from visiting food trucks or a casual walk by the lagoons. "Some folks call it 'The Park,' and some folks call it 'The Green,' but regardless, there's always someone out there enjoying a stroll or walking their dog," says broker Maria Skrip of RE/MAX Dream. Skrip has sold homes with her husband, Chris Skrip, for over a decade and resides in Beaufort. "It's the community's main hub." Whether at The Green or the community's main clubhouse, folks spend a lot of time outdoors. Woodbridge also features a tucked-away space for boat and RV storage. "We're a big boating community, so having that is a plus," Skrip says. "This area is one of the few budget-friendly neighborhoods with that feature, and it's included in your HOA fee."
The winding streets and ponds make Woodbridge feel like a small rural community.

New traditionals and contemporary colonials
Woodbridge was built between 2004 and 2005. Its large, woodsy lots often back up to one of the community's many lagoons. Small palm or oak trees sit in front yards, while pines tower in many backyards. Along sidewalk-lined streets are contemporary colonials and new traditional homes with two-car garages, small front porches and manicured front yards. New traditional homes often feature between 1,200 and 2,000 square with at least three bedrooms and price tags between $370,000 and $500,000. Contemporary colonials can be more than 2,000 square feet with four bedrooms, costing between $450,000 and $600,000. A few homes along Parkside Drive cost more because of their proximity to The Green. Homes here cost between $500,000 and $700,000.

Poolside hangouts and walks at The Green
Woodbridge has two designated recreation spaces, including the main clubhouse just off the main roundabout. The clubhouse has a meeting room that owners rent out for parties and receptions, but the draw is the pool. Behind the building, the L-shaped pool overlooks one of the community's lagoons. At The Green, enclosed by Parkside Drive, folks walk their dogs and kids kick around a ball. "There's a lot of families in the neighborhood," Skrip says, "And kids are always out playing together." A paved walking path bisects the space, scattered with benches that face the water. The Green also features two large lagoons where duck families are often spotted waddling about.
