Northview's homes feature various styles while remaining at a manageable price point

Northview's tree-lined streets offer a mix of different home styles. Large Tudor Revivals and New Traditional-style properties with brick facades sit alongside smaller Craftsmans and ranch-style homes. Many residences were constructed between the 1980s and '90s, though some newer homes have taken root in the neighborhood. According to local Realtor Angelica Fernandez of Keller Williams Houston Central, who has sold dozens of homes around Greater Houston, affordability is one of the main factors contributing to the uptick in population around the area. "It's definitely growing and becoming a beautiful area, to be quite honest," she says. "It's very affordable. You can buy a house within $250,000 with three bedrooms and two baths."

Students can join a range of clubs at Andy Dekaney High

Students in Northview are served by the Spring Independent School District. Kids may go to Meyer Elementary School, then advance to Ricky C. Bailey Middle School just north of the neighborhood on Cypresswood Drive. The Northview Neighborhood Center sits in the heart of the community, serving as a top spot for friendly tennis matches and dips in the pool. Lochinvar Golf Club, a premier destination to book weekend tee times, also sits on Northview's southside off Farrell Road. Additionally, the Mercer Botanic Gardens sits just a mile north of the neighborhood. The 180-acre tract is a top spot for outdoor enthusiasts, offering a network of paths through the area's forests.
