Abundance in North Creek, a flourishing Seattle suburb
North Creek is one of those communities that has flourished along the perimeter of one of the nation's, if not the world’s, most influential technology and software hubs. Waxing in the glow of Amazon, Microsoft and other prosperous tech companies here, the community enjoys a top-tier lifestyle with an abundance of comforts and convenience. “There are a lot of amenities,” says Chandra Vennapusa, a Realtor with eXp Realty, who sells homes in the Seattle suburb. “Pretty much everything is within 5 to 10 minutes.”

More new homes and larger homes are found in North Creek
North Creek brims with the fragrance of newness. Many of the homes are new construction and recent builds. Modern houses track tree-adorned streets with walkways on both sides of the roads. Well-landscaped homes dovetail neatly into an array of neighborhood parks in most communities. To be sure, there are some older homes as well. But increasingly, builders are replacing them with new homes, generally larger than the ones that preceded them, with virtually none smaller than 2,500 square feet. “What that means is that you have neighborhoods that look very contemporary and modern. So, it adds to the value of the neighborhood. And, of course, it means less maintenance in the homes themselves,” Vennapusa says.
Homebuyers can expect to invest premium dollars to live in North Creek. The median price for a single-family home is $1.3 million. Generally, you’d be hard-pressed to find one that sells for much less than $800,000, and luxury homes $2 million and beyond aren’t uncommon around here.
