Cobblestone Creek offers resort-like amenities near prized schools

The private Cobblestone Creek community in sunny Boynton Beach offers resort-style amenities and access to sought-after public schools. "The area around Cobblestone Creek is growing, big time. Over the last four years, the average home price has almost doubled," says Betty Benzino, a resident and Realtor at 5 Star Real Estate. "There is a lot of development going on. New plazas and restaurants are opening up. So, it's in a very lively part of town." The 24-hour gated community includes 250 single-family homes; many have backyard views of one of the three small lakes.

Mediterranean-style homes with pools and spacious garages

Homes in Cobblestone Creek display Mediterranean influences with stucco exteriors and clay tile roofs. There are a few single-story homes, but most are two-story residences. Houses range in size from roughly 2,600 to 4,500 square feet. Most front lawns include a small patch of verdant grass and decorative palm trees. Attached garages large enough to accommodate two or three cars are common, as are pools and screened-in porches in the backyard. Homes generally cost between $850,000 and $1.1 million. Residents can expect to pay HOA fees of around $415 a month.

Close to Cobblestone Commons and Canyon Town Center

Cobblestone Commons shopping complex opened just south of the community in 2019. The retail hub contains an ALDI grocery store, Club Pilates and PetSmart, as well as other storefronts and service providers. Dining options include First Watch, Crumbl and Cucina Moderna Italian Kitchen and Bar. A Publix anchors Canyon Town Center across the street. "Mamma Mia Pizzeria [about 5 miles away] has been there for the past 30 years and is still holding on," Benzino says.

Sunset Palms Elementary and Park Vista High earn high marks

Palm Beach County School District, one of the largest school systems in the nation, serves local families. Sunset Palms Elementary receives an A-minus rating from Niche. West Boynton Middle opened in 2023 and is unrated on Niche. Park Vista High has an A. High schoolers can participate in career-focused programs in automotive service technology, digital media, medical sciences and entrepreneurship.

Saltwater pool and nearby beaches support year-round recreation

Residents have year-round access to resort-style amenities inside the private development. An on-site spa and saltwater pool are available, as well as an aqua park. Inside the clubhouse awaits a private fitness center and a dedicated indoor play area for children. Locals also enjoy the community tennis courts and playground. Lantana Municipal Beach, one of many nearby options, is about 13 miles from Cobblestone Creek. Canyon District Park is one of the closest county-run green spaces. The park contains an exercise course with multiple stations, picnic areas and a 1-mile walking path. Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge stands less than 5 miles away. The sprawling preserve is a hot spot for kayaking, hiking and fishing among the swampy wetlands. Like all of south Florida, Cobblestone Creek does see tropical weather, but given its inland location, it does not face the most devastating effects of hurricane storm surge.

Major roads connect residents to hospitals and highways

Locals take Boynton Beach Boulevard or Lyons Road to get in and out of the community. The boulevard leads past Baptist Health Bethesda Hospital West, bringing drivers to U.S. Highway 441 in roughly 2 miles. Downtown Boynton Beach is about 10 miles away. Boynton Beach Toll Plaza is a few blocks to the east, offering quick access to Florida's Turnpike. The route takes drivers to Downtown Miami in about 57 miles.

Downtown hosts festivals, parades and other events

Residents are able to attend city-wide gatherings in downtown, such as Pirate Fest and the Christmas parade. The first Food & Wine Festival occurred at Centennial Park in April 2024. The event showcased popular Boynton Beach restaurants and breweries.
