Intersection of I-765 and I-75 an open door to Michigan

Buena Vista is well-connected via major roads like Outer Drive and Ribble Street, with one-way streets and minimal sidewalks in some areas. Interstate 75 runs north and south just east, connecting the area to Saginaw, Flint, Detroit, and the rest of northern Michigan. Holland Road, also known as M-46, runs east and west and links Buena Vista to downtown Saginaw and the Thumb region. Interstate 675 provides a loop to downtown Saginaw, about 4.5 miles away.

Access to new Saginaw United High School

Students in Buena Vista can attend Jessie Loomis Elementary School, which serves pre-kindergarten through sixth grade and has a C-minus Niche rating. The Success Academy focuses on grades six through 12. It has not received a Niche rating.
