A developing city in Central Arkansas

In Cabot, what was once a farming community has been rebuilt as a bustling Little Rock suburb. The city of around 27,000 people has spent recent years growing its residential areas and developing more commercial sites. It is now the largest city in Lonoke County. The Cabot School District is the county’s largest employer, followed by the Remington Arms Company and Walmart, Inc. The city’s growth and location give residents options on how to spend their time. “It has a small-town feel, but if you want the bright lights of Little Rock, you can be there,” says Jon Bloomberg, a managing broker with Crye-Leike Realtors. “If you want things out in nature, there are lakes and hills not far away. It’s country one direction and city the other.”
