Right on the Catawba River

Bounded by the Catawba River in the west and North Carolina Highway 16 in the east, Harwood Lane offers residents scenic beauty and easy access to local conveniences. “You’re so close to lots of activities, and you’re not far from Charlotte, Gastonia and Huntersville,” says Trevor Hall with Helen Adams, a Realtor for five years who grew up in the area. The neighborhood’s meandering streets and sidewalks are lined with mature oak trees, giving residents a sense of peace and seclusion.

The general atmosphere living on the lake is great however we are experiencing extreme loud airplane noise now. With the opening of the new run way it has made it impossible to sit outside and not here a plane above. Very disturbing!!!!

Not enough variety of restaurants for families. Fast food chains are way to abundant.

We have some local restarants that have been here for awhile and also a gardening shop, We also have a little breakfast place that all locals migrate to that has local owners. A little farther from our area we have a outdoor shop who sells fresh produce and homemade pies.
