The Cheyenne Greenway, with over 45 miles of trails, includes multiple entry points within Sun Valley. “You can get to every corner in town on the Greenway,” Graham says. Several elementary schools serve Sun Valley students. Most in the area will attend Bain Elementary in the neighborhood, which servies kindergarten through Grade 6 and earns a C rating from Niche For seventh and eighthgrade, students can attend Johnson Junior High, another C-rated school. South High earns a C-plus. College Drive is located on the neighborhood’s western edge, and leads south to Interstate 80, which takes travelers 54 miles west to Laramie and 40 miles east to the Nebraska border. Lincolnway takes residents to downtown Cheyenne. Cheyenne Transit Program has bus stops on its purple line throughout the neighborhood. The Cheyenne Regional Airport is 4 miles away, offering daily flights to Denver. The sports bar is decorated with the University of Wyoming Cowboys and the Denver Broncos paraphernalia. Visitors are served comfort food like burgers and brats in a laid-back, friendly atmosphere. The Cheyenne Plaza Shopping Center across College Drive has a Big Lots, Book Rack of Cheyenne and Murdoch’s Ranch and Home Supply. For groceries, Albertsons is about a mile away. South of the neighborhood is the Walmart Supercenter and Sierra, a department store for outdoor goods.
