Ranch-styles and single-family bungalows
North of Mobile, Chickasaw is composed of the main thoroughfare of North Craft Highway dotted with businesses and residential blocks lined with single-family homes. Although the area isn’t very walkable, it has a spacious feel with large yards that tend to have towering trees and bushes in them. There are also a few streets along Chickasaw Creek for views of the flowing stream. Architectural styles include bungalows, ranch-style homes, Italianate homes featuring corbels and historical farmhouses. “It’s a more affordable area with mostly older homes but many refurbished and updated,” says team leader Elaine Sessions who has 15 years of experience and works with The Sessions Team at Roberts Brothers West office. Sales prices can range from $70,000 for a two-bedroom bungalow to $409,000 for a three-bedroom waterfront bungalow on Chickasaw Creek.
