The MetroLink Blue Line has two stops in the Downtown Clayton area, the Clayton and Forsyth stop, while the MetroBus Routes 33, 47 and 97 all go through downtown along Forsyth Boulevard. The downtown business section has wide sidewalks for pedestrians; neighborhood streets may have sidewalks as well. Along the bustling streets and towering buildings of the downtown area, dining options are practically on every corner. From more casual calzones at Sauce on the Side, to upscale dining at The Capital Grille, the area also includes brunch options at Half & Half. After brunch, head across the street to Straub’s for groceries. The Ladue Crossing Shopping Center, just over a mile from the center of downtown, has an Old Navy and Barnes & Noble for the book lovers.
