Condos and apartments in converted warehouses
Most residents live in apartments and condos within converted warehouses. "In this area, you get the character of the older buildings blended with a mix of new elements," Rogers says. "The condos have renovated interiors that can include original wood floors that are 100 years old, or exposed brick, but also newer elements like really nice kitchen setups." Buyers will find glossy granite countertops in the Grand Arcade, the tallest commercial building in Cleveland when it was built in 1883. Another option is the Cloak Factory, a historic garment building that retains turn-of-the-century character elements. Most condos sell between $250,000 and $450,000.Pinnacle Condominiums is the exception to the converted warehouse trend, a luxury high-rise built in 2006 to meet growing demand in the neighborhood. These units can sell for up to $1.5 million.
