This flood-prone area is only accessible by boat and is often used as hunting grounds for ducks and other water birds. Visitors are cautioned to watch out for wildlife inhabitants, such as reptiles, amphibians, and small mammals like raccoons. In the housing section, near Port Chicago Highway, are a handful of pedestrian-friendly parks dotted throughout the area. Big Oak Tree Park and Marie Porter Park are located on Kilburn Street, providing opportunities for a peaceful break during a run or a friendly basketball game. Clyde Park is a slightly larger space with a tennis court and playground. Near this section of the neighborhood is Clyde Community Center. The center is home to the outdoor Clyde Book Stop and the site of the Arts & Crafts Festival. The annual event is hosted by the local nonprofit Clyde Artist Network, created out of a need for connection and artistic expression during the pandemic.
