Todos Santos Plaza is located in the heart of the neighborhood, surrounded by downtown’s many restaurants, bars, condos and apartments. Named one of the three Great Places in California by the American Planning Association, it’s one of the most popular parks in the city. The site’s large open green space has many shaded seating areas and features picnic tables, colorful gardens, a playground and a walking path. The 18-acre John F. Baldwin Park provides more athletic amenities a few miles north, from basketball and bocce courts to softball fields. It also features an updated playground and a dog park area. Plus, Briones Regional Park is 10 miles west of the neighborhood. The wide neighborhood streetscapes feature narrow sidewalks with clusters of trees from California bay laurels to coastal oaks. Lining the streets are primarily condos and properties that have been converted into multi-family units. Many condos in the area are compact in size, ranging from 450 to 1,000 square feet, with prices going from $230,000 to $375,000. There’s a smaller housing stock of single-family homes in Downtown/Todos Santos, which are mainly located in the eastern section of the neighborhood. Throughout the year, Todos Santos Plaza hosts many community events, including a weekly summer concert series featuring free live performances from local bands and musicians. Other popular gatherings here include the city’s annual holiday tree lighting ceremony in December and the annual Spring Brews Festival in March. The event brings in over 60 world-class craft breweries to the park for beer tastings, live music and local food.
