Small neighborhood within walking distance of multiple schools in Corinth
Along Interstate 35E is the small neighborhood of Fairview in the small town of Corinth. Corinth itself is located along Lewisville Lake, about 30 miles from downtown Dallas. Lake Dallas High School and Corinth Elementary School are within walking distance in the community, along with a smaller commercial section to the south. Corinth is part of the Lake Dallas Independent School District, which is graded an overall B-plus by Niche. There is a small commercial section along the interstate, and a corner park close to the elementary school.

Old and new homes along Interstate 35E in Corinth
Walking the streets reveals a collection of New Traditional and ranch-style homes. Some of the homes have been renovated, and there are a few new homes being built throughout Fairview. Sidewalks are littered the community and most homes have attached garages. These homes tend to be in tidy arrangements, with modestly sized lawns that are often landscaped. A few homeowner associations scattered throughout Fairview, but are a mixture of mandatory and voluntary associations. “My clients appreciate being able to do whatever they want with their property,” says broker Josiah Ford of Team Ford Realtors. New Traditional homes range from $385,000 for one built in 1997 to $605,000 for one built in 2022. Ranch-style homes are smaller, with prices ranging from $275,000 to $395,000. “Housing prices are comparable to nearby areas,” Ford says. In Fairview, prices are lower compared to the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex area.

American diner and bakery by Interstate 35E
There is a commercial section along the southern section, including grocery stores Albertsons and ALDI. Next to Albertsons are local restaurants Lake Cities Cafe, serving American diner fare, and Mike’s Bakery, with a variety of baked goods. Pho Asian Star and Maria’s Mexican Restaurant are smaller restaurants that sit next to each other in a strip mall. Golden Triangle Mall has over 60 stores and is about 6 miles north on Interstate 35E.
Corinth seasonal events and Baptist Trunk or Treat
The City of Corinth has seasonal events, such as Howl-O-Ween Bash, Christmas at the Commons and the Agora Music Fest Concert Series. These events often take place at the Commons at Agora, directly across the street from the city center. Within the neighborhood, First Baptist Corinth hosts a Trunk or Treat on October 31.
Lake Dallas High School partners with North Central Texas College
The Lake Dallas Independent School District operates three elementary schools, one middle school and one high school. Students in Fairview can begin at Corinth Elementary School, which is graded a B-minus by Niche. Students can then attend Lake Dallas Middle School and Lake Dallas High School, both of which earn a grade of B from Niche. Lake Dallas High School has over 15 sports and offers dual enrollment with North Central Texas College.

Fairview Park sits at the intersection of South Garrison Road and Cliff Oates Drive with a playground and green space with picnic tables scattered throughout. Nearby Meadow Oaks Park has a playground with a paved path surrounding it. There is also a pavilion and green space for impromptu sports. Closer to downtown, Corinth Community Park is the largest park in the city, and has several athletic fields, including soccer fields and baseball diamonds. From Westlake Park in Hickory Creek, about 4 miles south, campers have lake access with a boat ramp and shoreline fishing access.
Interstate 35E and the A-train leading further into Dallas
Interstate 35E acts as the eastern border for Fairview, leading further into Dallas and continuing south. While the Denton County Transportation Authority runs the A-train through Corinth, there are no stops within the city proper. Residents can drive to the Denton or Lewisville stops to catch a train heading further south into Dallas. Medical City Denton is to the north.
