Spectacle has many starter homes with diverse styles

Albert Hajdaraj, a Realtor with Homesmart Professionals, has been noticing this trend. “If you’re thinking about buying a home in Cranston, there’s a huge first-time home buyer market, with starter homes in the $250,000 to $300,000 range.” He also mentions that properties in surrounding neighborhoods can extend from $500,000 up to $800,000 and can draw people who are on their second home or higher – making the Cranston area special, indeed. Still, despite the stable range of home prices here, you can find diverse styles. For example, you can find a 1940s cottage that contains three bedrooms for $340,000. These will be placed in a suburban setting near homes of a similar style and scale, usually in modest hues like cream, navy and beige. Expect to see the usual suburban hallmarks, like sidewalks, shade trees and attached garages. Or, you can go even more vintage with a 1920s Cape Cod. Whichever route you go, it’s likely you’ll encounter modern updates to shared spaces like the kitchen.
