History of Rose Medical Center
Named after a fallen World War II general, Rose Medical Center has remained a central landmark in the Hale neighborhood since its founding in 1949. President Dwight D. Eisenhower laid the cornerstone of the hospital’s main building, and it was the first hospital in the city to credential doctors regardless of race or religion. Known as Denver’s “baby hospital,” the Rose Medical Center delivers thousands of infants each year. The hospital can provide quick medical attention to neighborhood residents. However, homeowners in Hale should be aware of ambulance sirens that ring out through the neighborhood and helicopters returning to the landing pad.

I've loved living here. The diversity and walkability are great! The cost of housing is very high, as is everywhere right now, so that is a concern.

Nice up and coming neighborhood. Has some good hidden places to eat and drink. When redevelopment of university hospital is finished the area will really be booming.
