There are also condos, duplexes and multi-story townhouses. “Englewood offers a wide range of housing options, from well-established neighborhoods like Arapahoe Acres, known for their historical stability, to newly developed multi-family residences in transit-oriented areas,” Harguth says. At the center of downtown, South Broadway is a walkable main street area lined with local shops, such as clothing boutiques, thrift stores and bookstores, and restaurants, like casual bistros, breakfast spots and pizzerias. “Englewood’s culinary scene is a reflection of its diverse community,” Harguth says. “The city’s ‘Eat, Explore, Enjoy!’ campaign encourages residents and visitors to experience all the food, drinks and art offerings.” Lastly, the wellness district is a hub for healthcare, with numerous small businesses such as salons and alternative medicine clinics. When the weather gets warmer, the Englewood Summer Market has a lineup of fresh produce and homemade products at the Civic Center.
