Sports facilities and trails at Edora Park
All the neighborhood’s homes are within a half mile of the 70-acre Edora Park. Sports enthusiasts can use the park’s baseball diamonds, disc golf course, skate park or tennis courts. The park is also home to a playground, horseshoe courts, open field space and a shaded picnic area. The Edora Community Garden has plots that can be reserved annually to grow and harvest produce. The 9-mile paved Spring Creek Trail passes through the park and spans east to the Riverbend Ponds Natural Area and southwest to Spring Canyon Park.

Outdoor education at Ridgeview Classical School
Riffenburgh Elementary School and Lesher Middle School both earn B-plus overall grades from Niche. Ridgeview Classical School sits to the neighborhood’s northwest and receives an A-minus. This tuition-free liberal arts charter school serves kindergarten through 12th grade and focuses on teaching students to be active and responsible community members. Ridgeview also hosts an outdoors program where students explore Colorado’s natural areas while rock climbing, hiking and learning survival skills. Fort Collins High School earns an A-minus and, according to Niche, is the third-best high school in Larimer County. High Schoolers can take concurrent enrollment courses through Front Range Community College.

Businesses at Jessup Farm
The Jessup Farm Artisan Village has a handful of local businesses where the community’s early farmlands once stood. Bindle Coffee is a cafe and micro-roastery serving baked goods, coffee and breakfast sandwiches. The Farmhouse at Jessup Farm is two doors down and serves classic comfort foods from fried chicken to mushroom bolognese. The Barrel House has a selection of craft beers in a restored, 140-year-old farmhouse. For groceries, a Sprouts Farmers Market and King Soopers are both nearby. Old Town Fort Collins is the city’s hub for shopping and dining, with dozens of local businesses and popular restaurants about 3 miles north of Stonehenge.

Rooftop views and live music
Old Town also plays host to numerous events throughout the year, from the holiday lights ceremony to free concerts. “There are a few rooftop bars downtown that are great for watching the tree lighting ceremony in December,” says Nicole Gardner, a Fort Collins resident and former Colorado State University student. “From Sunset Lounge, you can see the lights flicker on all at once across the skyline.”
