Condo buildings reach skyward in Friendship Heights Village
The high-rise condo buildings of Friendship Heights Village tower over Wisconsin Avenue in Maryland, less than half a mile from the border of Washington, D.C. It is the most populated census-designated place by density in the entire country, with over 5,000 residents in less than a tenth of a square mile. Those residents are drawn to the community for its amenities, luxury properties and proximity to the nation’s capital. “Friendship Heights Village is nestled between northwest Washington, D.C. and Bethesda,” says Lise Courtney Howe, an associate broker with Keller Williams Capital Properties. “You have a sense of community, but you’re close to both. It’s easy to go take advantage of the activities going on in those larger communities, but you still have the small, cozy setting in Friendship Heights Village.” Shops, restaurants and recreational amenities are all contained within the community, meaning locals don’t have to go far for many aspects of daily life.
Maryland condos offer amenities

It’s an easy walk into downtown Bethesda.” MedStar Health: Urgent Care at Chevy Chase sits within the community. Dulles International Airport is just over 20 miles west.
The Community Center is the site of annual events

I think one of the nicest things about Friendship Heights Village is the Community Center, because when you have high-rises like that, it’s really nice to have that anchor.” The Community Center also hosts movie nights and Bingo nights, as well as concerts at Hubert Humphrey Park.
