Located in northwest Orange County, Sunny Hills occupies the northeastern edge of the city, just south of the low, rangy slopes of the West Coyote Hills. Laguna Lake Park, another popular outdoor destination, offers trails at the edge of a small, blue lake. You might want to bring a fishing rod — it's regularly stocked with catfish and rainbow trout. The park is also home to the Equestrian Center, a recreational area with horseback riding rings and grandstand seating. There are also several greenbelts that wind through the neighborhood that connect small community parks with residential streets.
