Homes in Glen Port tend to sit back from Glendale’s busy commercial streets. Tucked behind Interstate 43 and the Bayshore outdoor mall, the neighborhood also sits next to the Lincoln Park Golf Course, the Milwaukee River and the upscale village of Whitefish Bay. “You’re right next to Whitefish Bay, so it’s desirable to a lot of people,” says Pete Gohsman, Realtor with the Gohsman Group of Keller Williams Milwaukee North Shore, who lives in Glendale. “It’s a little separate from the rest of Glendale, because you’re east of the freeway. It’s a nice area.” Several highly rated schools also draw residents to the neighborhood.
