"Green Valley has a woodsy rural feel that's a little more organic," says Andy Klink, an area local and broker associate at Country Estates Inc. "As you head north into wine country, this is where we have vineyards and all the custom homes."

"All the homes are custom, and the lots are typically really large," Klink says. "It's nice in the summer because you don't get as much wind, and it's about five degrees cooler than places like Sacramento."
