Historic American Foursquares and ranch-style homes
“Grove City has a nice variety of old historic homes around Olde Towne,” says Rusek. Dutch Colonial Revivals and Traditional American Foursquares are packed tightly in residential boroughs off Main Street and cost between $100,000 and $200,000. Most of these historic homes were built at the turn of the 20th century, and feature paved driveways leading to detached two-car garages. Along the narrow streets, old concrete sidewalks connect residents to the businesses on Main Street and provide students with a safe walkway to school. Further away from the busy downtown district, ranch-style homes built during the 1970s are settled on multi-acre lots and cost between $300,000 to $500,000. Many of these spacious properties are surrounded by tall Pennsylvania pines, offering a peaceful and private lifestyle.
