The streets are easy to navigate, as East Hamilton is a heavily gridded area. Sidewalks are on both sides of the street and the terrain is mostly flat, making it a very walkable neighborhood. First grade teacher Kiara Berry was the 2023 winner of the Gold Star Top Teacher Award presented by The Children’s Theater of Cincinnati. Students then move to Garfield Middle, which also holds a C rating on Niche. Marcum Park has a paved running trail and is home to Rivers Edge Amphitheater.
