Sawyer Lake Park is a favorite of the community. Residents can go fishing on the lake, take kids to the park or play basketball or soccer there. Across the community, the Heathrow Legacy Country Club has an 18-hole course and events club for residents to enjoy. Outside of the community, Sylvan Lake Park is another lakeside favorite. There are athletic areas, trails, playgrounds and a fishing pier. Adjacent to the park is the Seminole Soccer Complex. Seminole County also has the Cross Seminole Trail System, which crosses Heathrow and Lake Mary.
