Rural and industrial neighborhood with a variety of jobs, exceptional schools and outdoor space
In the rural outskirts of the Cincinnati Tri-State Area, people turn to Hebron for a less hectic day-to-day existence. If not commuting to Downtown Cincinnati, residents here turn to work at one of the neighborhood's many corporate warehouses or production centers, including Amazon and Wayfair. While residents may be removed from the city, they aren’t removed from the airport. The Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport borders the neighborhood and provides convenience to those who travel often. The one pitfall of the proximity to the airport is the noise it produces, but Scott Kallmeyer, the General Manager of the Hebron Grille, says, “You can only hear it every once in a while, and you can barely hear it from inside a building.” Locals enjoy Hebron daily for its spacious, private residences, exceptional schools and seemingly endless outdoor space.

From ranch-style and bi-level homes to new-traditional, colonial revivals and sprawling estates
Modern construction developments have created long and winding roads lined with new-traditional and colonial revival designs a short distance from the banks of the Ohio River. Tree-lined sidewalks connect isolated streets, with most plots coming with ample lawns that add to the green surroundings of the area’s dense woods. Some sections sport larger plots with multiple acres surrounding humble ranch-style and bi-level builds. In contrast, others offer sprawling estates with no visible neighbors and spectacular river views. Prices range from $200,000 for a three-bedroom ranch-style build in suburban surroundings to $1.3 million for a stunning property with multiple acres of privacy. “It’s an area that is experiencing a lot of growth,” Barbara Cox, a Realtor with Huff Realty, says. “New neighborhoods are going up. Residents also get good tax rates there.” Walkability is low in Hebron, backed up by its 10 out of 100 Walk Score. As for crime, the CAP Index gave Hebron a Crime Score of 2 out of 10, lower than the national average.

High marks for the Boone County School District
Residents of Hebron send their children to the Boone County School District, which earned an A-minus grade from Niche. Most kids get their starts at either Thornwilde Elementary or Chester Goodridge Elementary, which sport A and A-minus grades from Niche, respectively. Both schools feed into Conner Middle School, right in the heart of town, and Niche granted it an A. It’s an easy transition to Conner High School, just across the street. Niche gives it a B-plus thanks to a fully accredited curriculum, extensive athletic programs and numerous performing arts classes. As for private school options, Immaculate Heart of Mary School is in the nearby Burlington neighborhood and boasts a 12-to-1 student-teacher ratio.

16-mile commute to Downtown Cincinnati
Hebron centers around the intersection of Interstate 275 and Route 237, conveniently connecting residents to Downtown Cincinnati in just 16 miles. Commuters can also take advantage of the Transit Authority of Northern Kentucky bus system, which offers service to Cincinnati from the Limaburg Park and Ride. Companies like Amazon and Wayfair have production facilities along with other corporations, which help keep jobs plentiful. The neighborhood also borders the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport, which makes it convenient for residents looking to catch a flight. For locals needing medical attention, St. Elizabeth Florence Hospital is an 8-mile drive from Hebron.
From Hebron Grille to Little Valle Mexican Gill
Hebron Grille sports a Cajun-inspired menu and offers live music on weekends. “People love the homemade Alabama barbecue sauce,” Kallmeyer says. “They’ll even buy it in our 16-ounce bottle for use at home.” Longnecks Sports Grill makes a great spot to score classic bar fare and watch the game. As customers walk into Little Valle Mexican Grill, they are greeted by the smell of chicken fajitas and colorful murals. Residents can fill their pantries at Kroger, conveniently located along Route 237. For fresh produce and farm goods fresh from the fields, locals head to McGlasson Farms. Florence Mall is 7 miles from Hebron for resident’s retail shopping needs.
