A slice of Southern California seclusion in Hesperia
Unmarked streets wind through Lucky Star Ranchos, a Hesperia neighborhood with rustic character and sizeable lots as far as the eye can see. Still, the community is just minutes from the restaurants, retail stores and other businesses in this San Bernardino County city, home to 100,000 residents. “Bear Valley Road and Main Street, both streets have a lot of places to shop,” says Willie Bolin, a local Realtor with Realty One Group Roads, who has more than seven years of industry experience. “They have Walmart and Costco not far, stuff for kids like Chuck E. Cheese, [and] the mall is right there on Bear Valley Road.”
Similarly styled houses on spacious lots
Homes in this neighborhood share cohesive elements. Most are ranch-style, built in the 1970s and '80s, with attached garages. Buyers can also find some constructed since the turn of the 21st century. Most lots here are almost half an acre, including plenty of backyard space. Prices start at $325,000 for a house under 1,000 square feet and reach nearly $600,000 for more than 2,000 square feet.
